Artists in residence Spring 2024
Residencies
MORPHO supports 22 artists in residence from Belgium and abroad in 2024. In February, we made the transition to a new residency programme, from New Comfort Zones to Rituals for the Living Present.
Within this framework, we offer 3 types of residencies:
- Development residencies for visual artists from Flanders/Brussels (5 months)
- Research residencies for artist-researchers linked to academia (3 months)
- Exchange residencies for artists from the country of our international partners (2, 3 or 5 months)
In spring, we welcome these artists in Antwerp (see their artist pages on the right):

- Alex Schuurbiers (Development / Antwerp)
- Astrid Vandercamere (Development / Brussels)
