Bo Wielders

Bo Wielders is interested in language, architecture and archiving. She investigates the power dynamics within these domains and the consequences of information design. This brings Bo to focus on libraries: places where the book, the body and the building come together.

During her time with MORPHO, Bo will create a local archive with the residents based on their textual references. In this research she will explore both the content of the archival material and the physical form the archive can take. In addition to that, Bo uses fiction writing and drawing as research methods. Through these practices she tries include the imaginary and magical to be part of reality.

Bo Wielders (1998, NL) has a background in sculpture (Royal Academy of Art, The Hague) and is currently doing a master in Dutch language and literature (University of Antwerp). Together with Ire they form a writer’s duo under the name Naked Sandwich.
