Kinga Jaczewska
Resident
Kinga Jaczewska is a choreographer and dancer based in Antwerp. Since graduating from P.A.R.T.S., she has been researching the logic and mechanisms of visibility, including the relationship between the event and the non-event. During her residency she will explore the different scales in which a body and architecture function and relate to each other. She aims to develop a choreographic practice in which the vastness and immensity of concrete structures are brought into dialogue with the fragility of the human body.
Kinga Jaczewska (Poland) studied at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds (2009-2012) and the London Contemporary Dance School (2008-2009). Recent choreographic and work presentations include: Oooh, Z33, Hasselt and Netwerk, Aalst, 2020; Hands, Nona arts centre, Mechelen, 2017; and GREY, Bouge B festival, deSingel, Antwerp.
