Sina Seifee
Resident
Sina Seifee’s artistic practice is structured around a research-intensive and transversal exploration of performative storytelling and image-making, he looks at how epistemologies and knowledge get shaped. His work has been recognized for its commitment to social dimensions of imagination in the intersection of techno-media and globalism, with emphasis on the heritage of zoology in West Asia. During the residency, Sina will develop a series of texts called ‘Cinderella's Diaries’. The diaries are a medium to research how a well-known story changes when the investigator becomes a biographer. It further introduces his research on the apparatuses of writing in the Middle Ages and Cinderella's method of ‘worlding’.
