The work of Jeroen Bocken offers a reflection on the deception of perception. For this, he uses the many technologies available today for digital image-making whilst furthering the self-investigation of the photographic medium. The precise, technical nature of his photographs remains difficult to decipher by sight alone; we are confronted with a composite image pieced together by the artist’s perception and imagination.
