Build your own DIY beamer/projector with [ellis]
In two sessions we will build a DIY LED 100w/12V projector/beamer. The beamer is based on a lcd screen combined with a lens which can be connected to an analogue input, or to computers & other sources with an adaptor. They can be used in small settings and experimental set ups.
[ellis lize blauw] is an artist and performer who likes to cross bend in musical and scenographic collaborations. They research the alchemy of electronics and experiment with circuit-bending and DIY circuits, interweaving electrons and sounds. Driven by their fascination for natural processes and the deeper mechanism of life, they bake, grow and assemble multimedia sculptures of mixed techniques and recycled materials into cinematic installations and fairytales that fuse mythology, archetypes and shamanism with contemporary themes in open, playful and interactive setups.
Bring your own lunch and possibly plugs, laptops, smartphones for research & documentation + also a soldering iron and basic tools if you have them.
