[marie] is a French designer, developer and artist based in Brussels. Her practice looks critically at the technological infrastructures embedded in our daily lives, arguing for a more autonomous, involved, transparent approach. In 2021, she started collaborating with Low-tech Magazine. Together with founder Kris De Decker, they build low-tech prototypes, write DIY guides and co-hosts workshops that challenge our contemporary approach to energy consumption by co-building small scale, DIY energy systems.
[joke] is a visual artist and collective thinker as well as an inventor of objects and instruments. Her work straddles the intersection of performance art, music, product development, installation and the digital world.
Bring your own lunch and possibly plugs, laptops, smartphones for research & documentation + also a soldering iron and basic tools if you have them.
