We look forward to seeing you at the third Artist Day on Friday 23 January 2026, organised by FAMEUS x MORPHO x OPEN OFFICE!
With the Artist Day we aim to bring together artists and art workers based in or connected to Antwerp with various artistic backgrounds. Art organisations will unravel the programs and ways in which they try to support artistic practices.
The Artist Day’s purpose is to help anyone who is developing their work to:
- orientate themself in the field
- build an artistic base
- (re)connect
- meet potential collaborators
- create new connections

22:30 endThe vegan buffet is created by Bakre Karkosh, originally from Aleppo, Syria. Aleppo is known for many things, but especially for its rich culinary traditions. Bakre came to Belgium in 2015. In Syria, he was a potter and cook. Since his arrival in Belgium, he has been volunteering in the culinary sector. He works with various organisations, including SAAMO, Madam Fortuna, Het Bos, Fameus and Rataplan.
Winke Seels will decorate the conversation tables. Winke is a visual artist who works mainly with painting and ceramics. Her work draws inspiration from personal anecdotes, often moments she experienced in a bar. These anecdotes range from a funny comment made by a friend after a few glasses of wine to a striking character trait.
We will end the evening festively with Megastar Universe. Megastar Universe offers karaoke evenings to bring people together through the connecting power of music.
