Wood to Fire Sessions
25.03.2026–01.04.2026
During the Wood to Fire Sessions, we will explore the practice of boxing and the sensations and emotions it evokes and provokes.
We will do an hour of kickboxing training, followed by a break, with a moment of discussion, writing and improvisation afterwards.
The Wood to Fire Sessions are collective research sessions as part of Chloé Malcotti's residency at MORPHO, where she is developing a research project that aims to document, feel, and name the post-traumatic spaces and times that follow traumatic events - whether distant or recent - experienced by individuals that are/have been affected by sexism, and to explore the sensitive forms that might address them.
In this context, Chloé will make an audio recording of the Sessions in order to document them and keep a record of them. Registration for these Sessions therefore implies your consent to these recordings. The recorded material cannot be used or distributed without your consent. We will sign a document that will confirm this in writing.
→ These Sessions are open to all people who experience or have experienced sexism, regardless of whether or not you have experience with boxing. There is space for 8 people, sign up by filling in the form!
Bring comfortable sports clothing, a large towel, clean sneakers, water & gloves or bandages if you have them; otherwise they will be available.
