UFO Visitors Programme #2 – MORPHO & Vonk
24.05.2022
UFO Visitors Programme #2 invites six international curators for a tailor-made programme during the Antwerp Art Weekend. The programme aims to connect artists in Flanders and Brussels with people and platforms that have a particular attention for the support and presentation of emerging artists’ practices, to exchange knowledge and experience, and to nurture a network of references and opportunities.
This second edition is organised by VONK and MORPHO together with Z33 and Kunsthal Extra City, supported by Flanders Arts Institute. Passing four days in Hasselt and Antwerp, the visiting curators will meet local artists at studio visits and other professional events.

Public programme
The public part of this four-day programme starts at VONK with a tour of their studios. Afterwards artists are invited to visit Z33, where they can exchange thoughts and questions with our international guests (in English). We will gather in smaller groups around topics such as: what kind of support is present for artists in your country? Which kind of residencies, artist run spaces or other organisations dedicated to emerging international artists would you recommend and why?
