The Peaceful Body

In this Meditation Session, guided by Dodi Espinosa, we will explore how the practice of meditation can support the cultivation of non-violence (Ahimsa) in our everyday lives.

We will begin with a short talk on how the simple yet effective conjuction of posture, breath, and attention can help us create inner conditions for peace. By regulating our nervous system and by learning to take space from our impulses and cravings, we become less reactive, both toward ourselves and others. This deep inner work of non-violence moves beyond morality into a reorganisation of the body and mind by remembering what is always there, the natural wisdom and healing capacities of our own body.

The session includes an introduction, a guided open-eye seated meditation, walking meditation, and space for reflection. No previous experience is needed and an open mind is welcome.

Dodi Espinosa is a multidisciplinary artist based in Antwerp. His practice bridges art making, performance, meditation, and participatory installations, often weaving in spiritual traditions and social questions. Dodi incorporates somatic awareness and collective reflection into his workshops to explore how inner transformation supports collective change.

The session starts at 10:30 sharp and ends at 12:00. Wear warm & comfy clothes, bring a yoga mat & a small blanket.
