Grant Writing Days

Are you working on an application for support under the Flemish Arts Decree (grant or project subsidy) or for Fonds Nieuwe Makers, Artistieke ontwikkeling from the City of Antwerp? Are you staring blankly at the format, wondering how to fill out that complicated Excel sheet? Would you like to exchange thoughts with fellow artists or art workers? Or do you primarily need a concentrated co-working atmosphere? The Grant Writings Days are here for you!

We provide coffee, a co-working space, a listening ear, and plenty of pep talk and know-how – you bring a solid plan for your application and openness to think together.

Grant Writing Days take place every Thursday from 14:00 – 17:30 during the period leading up to the deadlines. Make sure to check the Open Office Antwerp agenda for exact dates, locations, and which organizations and expertise will be present.

On Thursday 3 September 2026, a Grant Writing Day will take place in the Monastery Garden at MORPHO & Kunsthal Extra City. Entry via Provinciestraat 112.

Open Office Antwerp is a learning network composed of Antwerp-based arts organizations, including wpZimmer, Het Bos, c o r s o, detheatermaker, Good Company, MORPHO, Kunsthal Extra City, Monty, Mestizo Arts Platform, and Rataplan, and is always open to new members.
