Antwerp Queer Arts Festival is a multidisciplinary arts festival that thematizes gender and sexual diversity. For the past 12 years, the festival has programmed both local artists and international talent within a variety of art forms: music, literature, film, dance, theater, exhibition, performance.... They work with open calls and have a special interest in new queer talent.
As part of the 2026 edition, the festival presents a multidisciplinary programme where queer art, performance, music, technology and collective gathering come together. International and local artists invite visitors to experiment, create and connect through exhibitions, performances and participatory workshops. From DIY electronics and sonic improvisation to immersive installations, healing circles and artistic research, they offer a space where curiosity, vulnerability and imagination take centre stage. Together, we explore new ways of experiencing intimacy, community and creativity.
