On Saturday 2 May you are welcome to visit the artists at Broedplaats Borrewater and Studio Stuivenberg during Atelier in Beeld, the major open studio weekend for visual artists in Flanders and Brussels, organized by Kunstwerkt.

• Broedplaats Borrewater
  Borrewaterstraat 1, 2170 Merksem

  This former police station at the Merksem District House was transformed by MORPHO and Fameus into a studio building for 17 early-career artists and a maker space. In collaboration with State of the Arts (SOTA), this studio project aims to be a vibrant incubator, ignite peer support and narrow the gap with the work field through monthly sessions.

• Studio Stuivenberg
  Lange Beeldekensstraat 267, 2060 Antwerp

  Studio Stuivenberg is located on the first floor of the gatehouse of this former hospital, which was transformed by MORPHO into around 20 workspaces for artist collectives and individual makers. Studio Stuivenberg is committed to strengthening the position of artists in the city and helping to stimulate the spirit of solidarity on the site through partnerships with Omarm Stuivenberg and the other cultural partners present.
